Hanoi: Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man had a meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet in Hanoi on June 8, as part of the Cambodian PM's official visit to Vietnam and attendance at the third ASEAN Future Forum (AFF) 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Vietnam and Cambodia. Both leaders discussed various issues of mutual interest and explored opportunities for enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors. The discussions were aimed at fostering a deeper understanding and partnership between the two nations.

The meeting comes amidst the Cambodian Prime Minister's participation in the third ASEAN Future Forum, which is being held in Vietnam. The forum serves as a platform for ASEAN countries to discuss future strategies and collaborative efforts in the region.
