Tashkent: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Chairman of the Lao National Assembly’s Committee for Foreign Affairs Sanya Praseuth in Uzbekistan on April 6, within the framework of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-150).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the IPU-150, where various international parliamentary representatives gathered to discuss global issues. The discussion between the Vietnamese and Lao officials focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in fostering a closer relationship between their countries. They discussed potential areas for collaboration, particularly in legislative exchanges and joint initiatives that could benefit both nations.
