NA Chairman Meets with Cambodian Counterpart in Switzerland

Geneva: Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man met with Cambodian counterpart Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary in Geneva on July 29 morning (local time). The meeting is part of the Vietnamese top legislator’s trip to attend the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament and engage in bilateral activities in the Central European country from July 27-30.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the two leaders highlights the efforts of both nations to strengthen their legislative cooperation. The discussions focused on enhancing parliamentary collaboration and addressing regional issues. Both leaders expressed their commitment to fostering mutual understanding and cooperation in various fields.

The 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament serves as a platform for parliamentary leaders from around the world to engage in dialogue and exchange ideas. The conference aims to promote global peace, security, and sustainable development through legislative efforts. Tran Thanh Man’s participation underscores Vietnam’s active role in international parliamentary diplomacy.
