National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on October 18 met with the Vietnamese Embassy’s staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Laos as part of his official visit to the neighbouring country and attendance at the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-45). The same day, the top legislator and his Lao counterpart Saysomphone Phomvihane, along with officials of the two countries, cut the ribbon to inaugurate Holiday Inn and Suites Vientiane, part of the 5-star hotel complex project – grade A commercial and office centre invested by BIM Group of Vietnam and the Lao Ministry of Public Security.
