NA Chairman Pays Tribute to Late Party, State Leaders

Hanoi: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man offered incense in tribute to late Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, former Chairman of the 11th and 12th National Assembly, and late State President Tran Dai Quang, and paid a visit to former NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on January 28 on the occasion of the 96th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).

According to Vietnam News Agency, Tran Thanh Man's visit and tribute were part of the activities commemorating the significant milestones in the country's political history. The 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam marks a period of reflection and homage to the leaders who have shaped the nation's trajectory.

The visit also highlighted the cultural tradition of Tet, where respect for elders and remembrance of ancestors and past leaders play an essential role. The act of offering incense signifies a deep acknowledgment of contributions made by these figures in Vietnam's development.
