NA Chairman Visits Policy Beneficiary Families in Can Tho Ahead of Tet

Hanoi: In a joyful atmosphere celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress, the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet), Politburo member and National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man on January 30 visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families in Binh Thuy ward, the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit by the NA Chairman was part of a series of activities aimed at recognizing and supporting families who have benefited from various government policies. The event was marked by a spirit of celebration, reflecting the broader national festivities surrounding the Lunar New Year.

During the visit, Chairman Tran Thanh Man interacted with the families, sharing warm wishes for the New Year and acknowledging their contributions. The gesture aimed to reinforce the government's commitment to supporting its citizens and maintaining close connections with community members, particularly during significant cultural occasions like Tet.
