Hanoi:Female lawmakers have been urged by National Assembly (NA) President Tran Thanh Man to play a more active role in legislative reforms, enhance supervision, and promote gender equality. The NA President emphasized the importance of utilizing digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in parliamentary activities.

According to Vietnam News Agency, President Man made these remarks during a ceremony in Hanoi on November 5, which marked the launch of the Group of Female Deputies of the 16th National Assembly for the term 2026-2031.

The launch event highlighted the need for female lawmakers to stay closely connected with voters and actively participate in the legislative process, ensuring that their contributions are impactful and aligned with the evolving technological landscape.
