NA Reviews Breakthrough Policies for Education, Healthcare

Hanoi: The National Assembly on November 17 heard the Government’s proposals and verification reports on two draft resolutions regarding education and healthcare as part of its 10th session. They are a draft Resolution on special mechanisms and policies to implement Politburo Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training, and another on mechanisms and policies to effectively implement Politburo Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on enhancing the protection, care, and improvement of public health. Legislators also looked into the revised Law on National Reserves at the working session.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the draft resolutions aim to establish special mechanisms that would facilitate significant changes in the education and healthcare sectors. The proposal for education focuses on implementing innovative strategies to improve the quality and accessibility of education and training across the country.
