NA Standing Committee Convenes 55th Session in Hanoi

Hanoi: The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened its 55th session in Hanoi, commencing its proceedings on March 2, with additional meetings slated for March 16-17. NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening remarks, setting the stage for a series of discussions and reviews. According to Vietnam News Agency, the committee is scheduled to provide opinions on a range of draft laws. These include the Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Notarisation and the Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Legal Assistance. The revised Law on Access to Information will also be examined, alongside the Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Overseas Representative Missions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Law on Belief and Religion, among others.
