NA Standing Committee Discusses Preparations for Legislature’s Extraordinary Session

Hanoi: The 41st session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee kicked off on January 6, spanning over 1.5 days, with Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivering the opening remarks. The session will be alternately chaired by the vice chairmen. Key agenda items include reviewing and revising several draft laws, notably the law on the digital technology industry and the amended law on employment. Additionally, the committee will discuss preparations for the 9th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the NA Standing Committee’s meeting is crucial for providing feedback on legislative drafts. These discussions aim to refine the proposed laws to ensure they align with the evolving needs of the industry and labor market. The session’s outcomes will set the stage for the upcoming extraordinary session, where these laws are expected to be further deliberated by the full assembly.
