NA Vice Chairwoman Emphasizes Accuracy in Hung Yen Election Preparations

Hanoi: Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Thanh on March 3 underscored the critical importance of maintaining absolute accuracy in the preparation of voter lists for the forthcoming elections. She emphasized that, under no circumstances, should there be any errors, overlaps, or omissions of voters as the region gears up for the election to the 16th NA and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Thanh's directive came during her inspection of election preparations in Hung Yen province, where she led a delegation from the NA Standing Committee and the National Election Council.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vice Chairwoman's visit was aimed at ensuring that the electoral processes are meticulously adhered to, reflecting the NA's commitment to transparent and precise electoral procedures. The inspection is part of a broader initiative by the National Election Council to guarantee that every eligible citizen is accounted for in the voter registration process, ensuring a fair and legitimate electoral outcome.
