National Assembly Approves Nguyen Tien Hai as Minister of Home Affairs

Hanoi: The 16th National Assembly (NA) has approved the appointment of Nguyen Tien Hai as the Minister of Home Affairs for the 2026-2031 term. This decision was made during the opening day of the National Assembly's first extraordinary session on August 3.

According to Vietnam News Agency, lawmakers reviewed and endorsed the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Nguyen Tien Hai, who is a member of the Party Central Committee and has been serving as the acting Minister of Home Affairs. This appointment solidifies his position as the Minister of Home Affairs for the upcoming term.
