National Exhibition and Convention Centre Set for Launch

Hanoi: The National Exhibition and Convention Centre, located in Dong Hoi and Xuan Canh communes of Dong Anh district, is ready for operation. Spanning a total area of 90 hectares, construction of the center began in late August 2024. By the end of June 2025, Vingroup successfully completed and handed over the two most significant components: the Kim Quy Exhibition House and the outdoor exhibition area, following nearly 10 months of construction. This center is poised to host the Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day, which marks the period from September 2, 1945, to 2025.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the National Exhibition and Convention Centre is recognized as one of the top 10 largest exhibition complexes globally and presently holds the title of the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia. The center’s development underscores a significant milestone in the region’s capability to host large-scale international events and exhibitions.
