Hanoi: Nearly 200 exhibitors from 27 countries across the globe, including major powerhouses like China, France, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, will attend the second Vietnam International Defence Expo slated for mid-December, as revealed during a press conference in Hanoi on November 19. The event, organized by the Ministry of National Defence from December 19-22, is a significant part of activities to commemorate the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 35th anniversary of All-people’s National Defence Day.
According to Vietnam News Agency, domestic and foreign exhibitors will showcase a wide array of military equipment, weaponry, and technological solutions at the expansive 100,000-square-meter expo. The participation of 42 foreign delegations has been confirmed, highlighting the global interest and collaborative spirit in advancing defence capabilities. This gathering not only underscores Vietnam’s growing role in the international defence arena but also provides a plat
form for fostering international relationships and technological exchange in the sphere of national defence.
