Hanoi: The central province of Nghe An has completed and put into operation seven out of the 21 inter-level boarding schools for ethnic minority students at the primary and lower secondary levels in mountainous and border areas. The inauguration of the boarding schools, marking the start of the 2026-2027 academic year, not only helps address the shortage of classrooms and significantly reduces travel difficulties for children from ethnic minority communities, but also provides them with boarding facilities meeting national standards. Students will receive comprehensive support in learning, accommodation, and meals, as well as life skills development.

According to Vietnam News Agency, these newly inaugurated schools aim to provide quality education and living conditions for ethnic minority students, ensuring they have access to improved educational resources. The move is part of a broader initiative by the province to enhance educational infrastructure in remote regions, ultimately contributing to the socio-economic development of these areas.
