Nguyen Van Quang Re-Elected as Chief Justice for 2026-2031 Term

Hanoi: Nguyen Van Quang has been re-elected as Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2026-2031 term. The decision was made during the 16th National Assembly's first session on April 7, where all 496 lawmakers present voted in favor of the resolution.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the resolution confirms that Quang, who is also the Secretary of the Party Central Committee, will continue his role as Chief Justice. Quang has held the position since the 2021-2026 term and will now lead the country's top court for another five years.
