Ninh Binh boosts high-tech application to improve agricultural value

The northern province of Ninh Binh has been focusing on high-tech application to improve the value of agricultural products. Yen Mo district is the leading locality in developing a model of growing cantaloupe in membrane houses that proves higher benefits. The district now has over 23,300 sq.m of greenhouses, bringing in revenues of about 250-350 million VND per 1,000 sq.m and profits of between 125-175 million VND, 10-15 times higher than the traditional cultivation model.
