Hanoi: Over 600 reporters and technicians have registered to cover the 14th National Party Congress.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the opening day of the Press Centre for the Congress witnessed 597 reporters and technicians from 113 domestic media agencies, a significant increase from the 498 domestic reporters who attended the 13th National Party Congress. Additionally, 79 reporters and press assistants from 43 foreign news agencies, including overseas Vietnamese reporters and reporters from political parties and ruling parties, have registered, compared to the 66 international reporters at the previous congress.
The Congress, which runs from January 19-25, has attracted wide media attention, reflecting its significance on both domestic and international levels. The increase in the number of both domestic and international media personnel highlights the growing interest and importance of the event in shaping future policies and political directions.
