Paris Concert Supports Flood Resilience for Vietnamese Farmers

Paris:The Anchor Resilience association organized a solidarity concert in the city on September 24 to generate funds for a pilot project aimed at assisting vulnerable farming households in central Vietnam in preparing for floods and severe weather conditions.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative plans to offer approximately 100-120 at-risk households access to a pre-arranged insurance mechanism. This system will enable these households to receive financial aid when rainfall surpasses a specified threshold outlined in the contract, rather than having to rely on post-disaster relief efforts.
