Moscow: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam, accompanied by his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, arrived in Moscow on May 8 afternoon (local time), beginning his three-day official visit to Russia at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. During his visit, General Secretary Lam will attend events commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit marks an important occasion for enhancing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia. The participation of General Secretary Lam in the Victory Day events underscores the longstanding historical ties and mutual respect between the two nations.
