Baku: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam, accompanied by his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, arrived in Baku on May 7 afternoon (local time), marking the start of his two-day State visit to Azerbaijan. The visit was made at the invitation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Vietnam and Azerbaijan. The Vietnamese delegation’s agenda includes meetings with top Azerbaijani officials to discuss various aspects of cooperation between the two nations. The discussions are expected to cover a range of topics, including economic collaboration and cultural exchanges.
