Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam has urged for the mobilization of intellectual efforts, the involvement of scientists and experts, and the integration of global expertise to develop strategies for urban and rural areas in alignment with national growth requirements for the new era. This directive was made during a working session on September 17 with the Standing Board of the Government Party Committee.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the session focused on executing the Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.19-NQ/TW, which pertains to agriculture, farmers, and rural areas, along with the Politburo’s Resolution No.06-NQ-TW concerning urban planning, construction, management, and sustainable development. The resolutions are central to the country’s strategic approach to harmonizing urban and rural growth while leveraging both domestic and international knowledge.
