Party Chief Calls for Shift Towards Early Prevention in Inspection, Supervision Work

Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam has called for a stronger shift in inspection and supervision toward early and afar prevention, focusing on controlling power during governance and identifying risks before violations occur. The Party chief made the request while working with the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission on March 5 to review its advisory work in building and finalising institutions in preparation for the second meeting of the 14th Party Central Committee.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the emphasis on early prevention is aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of governance by identifying potential risks before they escalate into violations. The Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission has been tasked with advising on institutional frameworks that support this proactive approach.

The shift in focus is expected to improve oversight mechanisms and ensure that power is exercised responsibly. By prioritizing prevention, the Party aims to foster a governance environment that minimizes risks and enhances accountability at all levels.
