Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam on March 17 chaired a working session with the Party Committee of the Government Inspectorate to discuss inspection activities and the handling of public complaints and denunciations.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting emphasized the urgent need to address 220 prolonged complaints that have been pending resolution. The Party chief underscored the importance of resolving these issues within the second quarter to ensure public trust and maintain transparency in governmental processes.
During the session, To Lam highlighted the role of the Government Inspectorate in efficiently managing and resolving complaints that have been lingering without resolution. The session aimed to outline strategies and processes that would expedite the inspection activities necessary for addressing these public grievances.
The Party Committee of the Government Inspectorate was urged to enhance its coordination mechanisms and improve its inspection methodologies to effectively deal with the backlog of complaints. The timely handling of these complaints is seen as crucial in upholding the integrity and accountability of governmental operations.
