Minsk: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam, along with his spouse and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, departed from Minsk on the evening of May 12 (local time), marking the end of their successful state visit to Belarus. This visit was the final leg of their week-long journey that began on May 5 and included stops in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Russia.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit by the Party General Secretary held significant importance as it aimed to deepen trust and cooperation between Vietnam and its traditional partners. This diplomatic mission was a reaffirmation of Vietnam’s enduring commitment to strengthening ties with the countries of the former Soviet Union, highlighting the strategic importance of these relationships for Vietnam’s foreign policy.
