Da nang: Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, who also serves as Secretary of the Central Military Commission, along with a high-ranking delegation, paid tribute to fallen combatants by offering flowers and incense at the Da Nang City Memorial. This ceremony was held on April 25 to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification, which took place on April 30, 1975, and is celebrated in 2026.
According to Vietnam News Agency, following the memorial ceremony, the top leader and the delegation visited Heroic Vietnamese Mother Huynh Thi Me. Born in 1924, she resides in Hoa Cuong ward, Da Nang city. Her husband and one son were martyrs, and during the visit, To Lam and the delegation presented her with gifts, recognizing her family's sacrifices for the nation.
