Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam and his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation from Vietnam, arrived in Vientiane on the morning of December 1, commencing a state visit to Laos. During his two-day visit to the neighboring country, To Lam is scheduled to attend the 50th National Day celebrations of Laos and co-chair a high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP). This visit is made at the invitation of LPRP General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the agenda for this visit includes strengthening bilateral relations and discussing potential collaborations between the two parties. The visit underscores the continued commitment to fostering cooperation and dialogue between Vietnam and Laos.
