Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam has praised the significance of the ongoing Vietnam visit by Chairwoman of the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance (JVPFA) Obuchi Yuko, saying that it contributes to further deepening the Vietnam-Japan comprehensive strategic partnership. During a reception in Hanoi on August 7 for Obuchi, who is also a member of Japan’s House of Representatives, Party chief Lam hailed the first visit by a JVPFA leader since both countries elevated their ties two years ago.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit by Obuchi Yuko holds substantial importance as it marks a continued effort to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
