Party Leader Welcomes King Philippe of Belgium

Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam on April 1 welcomed King Philippe of Belgium who is in Hanoi for a state visit to Vietnam from March 31 to April 4. This is the first state visit to Vietnam in over 50 years since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit marks a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Belgium. The two nations have been working towards strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring opportunities for cooperation in various sectors. During the meeting, discussions were expected to cover a range of topics, including trade, investment, and cultural exchanges, reflecting the shared interests and mutual benefits of the two countries.
