Party, State Leader Calls for Consolidation of Central Steering Committees on Legal, Judicial Reform

Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam chaired a working session in Hanoi on May 13 with representatives from ministries, central agencies, and relevant bodies to review the organisation and operations of the central steering committees for institutional and legal reform and for judicial reform.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the session focused on evaluating the current structure and effectiveness of the central steering committees responsible for overseeing legal and judicial reforms. The discussions aimed at identifying areas where consolidation could improve efficiency and enhance the implementation of reform policies.

The meeting brought together key figures from various governmental departments, emphasizing the importance of a coordinated approach to legal and judicial reforms. The participants explored strategies to streamline processes within these committees, ensuring that reforms are implemented in a timely and effective manner.

General Secretary To Lam highlighted the need for a unified framework that would enable the steering committees to operate more cohesively.
