Party, State Leaders Honor President Ho Chi Minh and War Martyrs on 80th National Day

Hanoi: A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, State President, National Assembly, Government, and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and the country’s war martyrs at the Heroes and War Martyrs’ Monument in Ha Noi on September 1, on the occasion of the 80th National Day (September 2).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the delegation’s visit was a solemn occasion that underscored the nation’s respect and gratitude toward President Ho Chi Minh and the sacrifices made by the war martyrs for the country’s independence. The 80th National Day marks a significant milestone in Vietnam’s history, commemorating the declaration of independence and the enduring legacy of those who fought for the nation.

The ceremony included the laying of wreaths and a moment of silence, reflecting the deep reverence for the contributions and sacrifices of those who have shaped the country’s path to independence and prosperity.
