The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) responds to the policies of the government and the Ministry of Home Affairs by considering urgent measures to help the public with electricity bills in flood-affected areas. It was proposed through the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval to the Cabinet. In 2024, PEA donated more than 5,000 sets of survival bags, more than 10,000 bottles of drinking water, and also sent them to support flood-stricken areas, as well a s alleviating the suffering of the people.
