Tam nong: In Dong Thap province's Tam Nong district Phu Tho dried snakehead fish making village in the namesake commune has increased production to prepare for Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday. The village has 35 production facilities making all kinds of dried fishes like snakehead fish, loaches and bumblebee catfish. As Tet draws near, activity in the village has intensified markedly. According to Vietnam News Agency, drying yards and racks are filled with fish and shrimp, while residents work briskly to prepare and lay out products under the sun in time for Tet sales.
