PM Addresses 10th ACMECS Summit.

KUNMING: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh addressed the 10th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, themed “Towards Seamless Connectivity for Mekong Sub-regional Integration,” held in Kunming city, Yunnan province of China.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the summit brought together leaders from the member countries to discuss strategies for enhancing economic integration and cooperation within the Mekong sub-region. The discussions focused on improving connectivity and fostering collaboration in various sectors to boost regional growth and development.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the importance of joint efforts in infrastructure development, trade facilitation, and investment in the region. He highlighted the need for sustainable and inclusive economic growth, urging member countries to work together to overcome challenges and seize opportunities for mutual benefit.

The summit aimed to strengthen the ties among the countries along the Ayeyawady, Chao Phra
ya, and Mekong rivers, promoting a more interconnected and prosperous sub-region. Participants also explored ways to enhance cooperation in areas such as energy, agriculture, and tourism to support long-term economic stability.
