Quang tri: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a candle-lighting ceremony at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery in the central province of Quang Tri on July 26. The ceremony was to pay tribute to war heroes and martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister honored the sacrifices made by soldiers during the war. The event was part of nationwide activities to remember the contributions of those who lost their lives in service to the nation.
Prime Minister Chinh, along with other officials and citizens, lit candles at the gravesites of the martyrs. The ceremony aimed to express gratitude and ensure the memory of the fallen soldiers continues to be honored by future generations.
