Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2024 held on December 2 in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau: The forum was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with People’s Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province under the theme “Free Trade Zone – A breakthrough to shape logistics growth”.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the event gathered key stakeholders in the logistics industry, including government officials, business leaders, and trade experts, to discuss challenges and opportunities in developing Vietnam’s logistics sector. The focus of this year’s forum was to explore how free trade zones can catalyze logistics growth in the region and bolster Vietnam’s position as a significant player in global trade.
During the forum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted the importance of enhancing the country’s logistics infrastructure to support economic development and integration into global supply chains. He emphasized the government’s commitm
ent to creating favorable conditions for businesses and investors to thrive in the logistics sector.
