PM Calls for Breakthrough Mechanisms to Drive Comprehensive Development in Can Tho

Can tho: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has urged the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho to explore special and breakthrough policies and mechanisms to promote its comprehensive development, and pilot investment in several emerging and high-potential sectors. The PM had a working session with the Standing Board of the municipal Party Committee on May 26. Earlier, PM Hung paid floral tribute and offered incense at the Can Tho Martyrs' Cemetery in commemoration of late President Ho Chi Minh and fallen heroes and martyrs who devoted their lives to the struggle for national liberation and protection.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for Can Tho to take advantage of its strategic location and unique resources to become a driving force in the region's economic growth. He highlighted the importance of implementing innovative policies that can attract investment and foster sustainable development, particularly in sectors that hold significant potential for future growth.

The Prime Minister's visit and meeting with the local Party Committee underline the central government's commitment to supporting Can Tho in its development initiatives. By encouraging investments in emerging sectors, the PM aims to stimulate economic activity and ensure long-term prosperity for the city and its residents.
