Hanoi: The Vietnamese banking sector must deepen innovation, accompany businesses and citizens, demonstrate flexibility, and contribute to rapid and sustainable development so that its benefits are widely shared, said PM Pham Minh Chinh while addressing the sector’s 9th National Patriotic Emulation Congress for 2025-2030, held in Hanoi on November 24.

According to Vietnam News Agency, PM Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the critical role of the banking sector in fostering economic growth and ensuring that the progress is inclusive and benefits all sections of the society. The congress, which attracted key stakeholders and leaders from the banking industry, served as a platform to chart the future course for the sector with a focus on innovation and public service.

The Prime Minister urged the banking institutions to work closely with businesses and the public, adapting to the changing economic landscape with agility and foresight. The goal, he highlighted, is not only to achieve rapid economic development but to ensure that the progress is stable and sustainable, with the benefits trickling down to every citizen.
