Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged ministries, sectors, and localities to adopt a more proactive, flexible, and effective approach in executing railway projects. He emphasized the urgency of resolving existing bottlenecks while adhering to guidance from the Politburo, the National Assembly, and the Government. During a meeting with standing Government members in Hanoi, the Prime Minister reviewed the progress of several significant railway initiatives and called for accelerated implementation.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister specifically highlighted the importance of advancing key railway projects, which include the North-South high-speed railway, the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong line, and planning for the Hanoi-Lang Son and Hai Phong-Mong Cai routes. Additionally, he underscored the need for development in urban railway systems within Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The Prime Minister's call to action aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of these infrastructure projects, which are crucial for the country's transportation network.
