Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception for Governor of Gunma prefecture Yamamoto Ichita in Hanoi, urging the Japanese locality to expand its investment in Vietnam.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting emphasized strengthening economic ties and fostering mutual growth between Vietnam and Japan. Prime Minister Chinh highlighted the potential benefits of increased investment from Gunma, noting the positive impact it could have on both regions’ economic development.
Governor Yamamoto Ichita expressed interest in exploring new opportunities for collaboration, acknowledging Vietnam’s favorable investment climate and its commitment to supporting foreign investors. Both leaders agreed on continuing discussions to identify specific areas for future cooperation.
