Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September 6 presided over the Government’s regular August meeting to evaluate the socio-economic situation in August and the first eight months of 2025, the disbursement of public investment, social security, national defense and security; and to establish tasks and solutions for September and the remaining months of 2025.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on a comprehensive review of the socio-economic developments, assessing progress in various sectors, and identifying challenges faced by the government. The discussions highlighted the importance of public investment disbursement and examined the current status of social security measures and national defense strategies.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need for effective solutions to ensure economic stability and growth. The meeting also served as a platform to outline strategic priorities for the upcoming months, reinforcing the government’s commitment to maintaining national security and enhancing social welfare.
