Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, head of the national steering committee for implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, chaired the committee’s first meeting on August 4 evening.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting marked a significant step in the implementation of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, which aims to enhance and support the growth of the private sector within the national economy. The committee is tasked with formulating and overseeing strategies to foster an environment conducive to private economic activities.
The national steering committee’s mandate includes evaluating current policies, identifying obstacles faced by private enterprises, and proposing solutions to boost their contributions to the economy. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the committee will work closely with relevant ministries and local authorities to ensure effective implementation of the resolution’s objectives.
