PM Chairs Meeting on Judgment Enforcement and Asset Recovery

Hanoi: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung chaired a meeting of the Central Steering Committee on judgment enforcement and the recovery of misappropriated and lost assets in criminal cases in Hanoi on July 8. During the meeting, committee members, representatives of ministries, agencies, local authorities, and relevant institutions discussed progress made in enforcing court judgments and recovering assets, while identifying challenges and bottlenecks in the enforcement process and in handling recovered assets to settle outstanding debts.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting was pivotal in addressing the obstacles faced in the effective implementation of court judgments and asset recovery. The participants highlighted the necessity of inter-agency cooperation to enhance the efficiency of the enforcement mechanisms and ensure the timely recovery of assets. The discussions also focused on improving legislative frameworks to better support the enforcement processes and the management of recovered assets.

The meeting concluded with Prime Minister Le Minh Hung emphasizing the importance of a coordinated and strategic approach in tackling the issues related to judgment enforcement and asset recovery. He urged all stakeholders to work collaboratively to overcome the identified challenges and optimize the processes to ensure justice and financial integrity in the handling of criminal cases.
