Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a memorial and burial ceremony in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang, commemorating 81 Vietnamese soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives in Cambodia and Vietnam, ahead of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event took place on July 21 and was marked by solemn ceremonies to honor those who gave their lives in service to their country. The commemoration underscored the sacrifices made by these individuals during conflicts and their enduring legacy in Vietnamese history.
