PM Hosts Meetings with Lao and Cambodian Party Leaders

Ho Chi Minh City: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held separate meetings with General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, as well as Cambodian People’s Party Chairman Hun Sen, in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of April 29. The meetings took place in the context of the leaders’ visit to Vietnam for the 50th anniversary celebration of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, which marks the events of April 30, 1975.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between Prime Minister Chinh and the visiting leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation. The presence of Thongloun Sisoulith and Hun Sen in Vietnam underscores the importance of the historical ties between the nations, especially in the context of the anniversary celebrations. The meetings served as a platform to reinforce mutual commitments and explore avenues for further collaboration.
