Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on June 24 early morning left Hanoi for the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Tianjin and a working visit to China. The June 24-27 trip is made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen economic ties and discuss pressing global economic issues. The WEF meeting, often referred to as the “Summer Davos,” brings together leaders from various sectors to address key economic challenges and opportunities.
During his visit, Prime Minister Chinh is expected to hold talks with Chinese officials and participate in discussions at the WEF meeting. The visit underscores the importance of collaboration and dialogue in addressing economic growth and development in the region.
