PM Meets Vietnamese Community in Kuwait

Kuwait city: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse met staff of the Vietnamese embassy and the Vietnamese community in Kuwait on November 16 afternoon (local time), as part of their official visit to the Middle Eastern country at the invitation of PM Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al Sabah.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting was an opportunity for the Prime Minister to engage with the Vietnamese expatriates and discuss various matters concerning their welfare and the roles they play in strengthening the ties between Vietnam and Kuwait. The visit is seen as a crucial step in enhancing diplomatic relations and fostering collaboration between the two nations.

During the gathering, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the importance of the Vietnamese community in Kuwait, acknowledging their contributions to both the local society and the homeland. The Prime Minister also listened to the concerns and suggestions of the community members, assuring them of the government’s support in addressing their issues.

The official visit to Kuwait is part of a broader effort by the Vietnamese government to reinforce international relations and explore new avenues for cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
