Moscow: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held a working session on March 23 morning (local time) with representatives of Novatek, the largest independent natural gas producer in Russia, as part of his official visit to Russia.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on discussions related to enhancing energy cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the natural gas sector.

During the session, both parties explored potential opportunities for collaboration in energy projects, which could benefit both nations. The discussions highlighted the strategic importance of energy resources and the role they play in fostering economic ties between Vietnam and Russia.

The Prime Minister's visit to Russia, including the meeting with Novatek, is part of a broader effort to strengthen bilateral relations and explore new avenues of cooperation in various sectors.
