PM Pays Tribute to Revolutionary Leaders, War Heroes in Quang Tri, Hue

Quang tri: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on July 26 paid tribute to heroic martyrs and late Party and State leaders at martyrs’ cemeteries and memorial sites, and visited Heroic Vietnamese Mothers in the central Quang Tri province and Hue city on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister’s visit was a significant gesture to honor the sacrifices made by those who fought for the country’s independence and freedom. The visit included laying wreaths and offering incense at memorials dedicated to the martyrs who lost their lives during the war.

In addition to paying respects at the cemeteries, Prime Minister Chinh also met with and expressed gratitude to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers. These women were recognized for their contributions and sacrifices during the war, having lost children and family members in the conflict.

The Prime Minister’s activities were part of a broader national effort to commemorate War Invalids and Martyrs Day, a day of remembrance for those who have served and sacrificed for the nation. The event underscores the country’s ongoing commitment to honoring its history and those who have played pivotal roles in shaping it.
