Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation departed from Hanoi on January 15 afternoon to embark on official visits to Poland and the Czech Republic. They will also attend the 55th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos and participate in bilateral meetings in Switzerland.

According to Vietnam News Agency, these engagements, scheduled from January 15 to 23, are being undertaken at the invitations of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab. The visits aim to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore potential areas of cooperation between Vietnam and the host nations.

The WEF Annual Meeting will provide a platform for Vietnam to engage with global leaders and discuss pressing economic issues, furthering its international influence and partnerships. The Vietnamese delegation’s participation underscores the country’s commitment to active involvement in global economic discourse.
